The Self-Development giveaway is specific to the industry - though business building gifts can be welcome with a Self-Dev theme.
They are seeking contributors who want to grow their lists now! The upgrade package is awesome (but I rarely do these things).
Run by leaders in the Self Improvement niche - Stephanie Mulac, Carolyn Hansen and Dr. Joe Rubino. This is their 8th year.
Last year, more than 45K members joined lists of contributors. This is a BIG thing - and the ONLY giveaway specifically geared to this niche!!!
What the Heck is a Giveaway??
Just what it sounds like, lol! You contribute a freebie product. When the giveaway opens to "members" they go through each of the gifts (there will be more than 900 this time around), and click on those they like.
You gain by getting exposure to the thousands who are looking through all the free gifts! Each time they click on YOUR gift, they are taken to a special squeeze page (your subscriber capture page), where they sign up for your list in order to get the gift.
The idea is to bring subscribers to your list - which in turn will allow you both the opportunity to send them your newsletter directly, but also to enter into email swaps at places like SafeSwaps.
What Do I Need to Do?
Well, this blog is all about making money on the cheap, right? So...

If that is the case, I will let you know when this giveaway is open to members - you should check out everyone's gifts - they are really phenomenal!!!!

I am sorry about the way this is posted - I was unaware that it was "that time of year" again. Normally I would have had posts on those things needed long before I'd announce something like this! However, this is just TOO good of an opportunity to pass up, so I guess I have to do it backwards...
When I had my websites a couple years ago - this giveaway event was a MUST DO. I've joined many of them in the past, but this one consistently brings subscribers, and high quality, BUYING subscribers at that!

Already Got What You Need to Join??
If, perchance, you are not new to getting cash online, and you already have or know where to get everything you need to enter this giveaway - then by all means!!! Get over there!!!
One thing: for any and all giveaways - you need to bring in both contributors and members in order to have your gifts shown throughout the giveaway. Therefore, if you intend to do this - even if you are not yet ready - start promoting!!!
The more contributors you bring in (me too...) the more points you get and the better position your gifts will get, even as a free member.
Heck!! I have an auto-responder, maybe this is the perfect segway into a newsletter for this blog!!
