Take Advantage of Free Classifieds Sites!

Free classified ads are a terrific way to get your message out to thousands, but they require a little bit of work.

Of course, you have to join each site individually, but you won't be inundated with emails like you would with a safelist. You can select whether or not to get certain kinds of emails.

Each site has different rules, so learning the ropes will be a bit time consuming in the beginning. If you are only promoting one or two programs, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well you can do with these!

I would use them in conjunction with your facebook and twitter accounts at the very least. You can leverage your time better.

I was lucky, and stumbled upon a blog where the owner listed more than 300 different free and extremely low-cost classified sites. I have become a member of many of them, and intend to eventually join them all. Its work. No getting around it. And, it takes time – lots of time.

I have listed a few of these sites below. Of the three hundred, several are no longer available, and some just don't apply to what I do.

However, if you sit down and write out 10 or 20 ads and put them on a plain document, you can copy and paste to your heart's content, and basically never run out of places to put those ads!

For classifieds, you should have about four versions of text, and 10 – 20 headlines of as close to 1 line as possible. Do NOT use long headlines – make it quick, pique curiosity, and then plug in your ad text where it says.

Some of these sites let you put links in the body of your text, some don't. Be sure to follow the rules!!

Also, some sites like Craigslist only allow a certain number of ads to be placed per day, while others are virtually unlimited. I have found that those sites that have at least some rules do better than free-for-all type sites – at least with the offers I am promoting. And, people who click on the classifieds are automatically pre-qualified by doing so – so you are not sending completely cold viewers to your pages.

I would try several different headlines, as well as several categories in the beginning – but again – make sure you follow the rules of the individual site.

There is little else to say, other than get your text versions and headlines ready before you start joining, so that once you can place your ads, you can do so with a simple copy & paste, and not have to write everything individually for every ad. Save yourself the time and aggravation and do the work before you begin to post.

Always test everything, too. There are innumerable ways to put the same ad out in different ways – same text different headline, identical ads at two or more sites, different categories, etc etc etc.

As with all the other programs, I would hugely appreciate it if you would check out the sites below through my affiliate link...

AdlandPro is by far my favorite place to work!! Not only are plain ads free, but the promo tools are very inexpensive. There are a ton of tools, there's an option to surf for more credits, and the posts I get are outstanding. You can choose to automatically follow and be followed -

Its just a super place to advertise!

Backpage is very similar to Craigslist, but without many of the rules that make CL a pain.
