Getting Credit When Using GPT Sites

Making sure your offers credit at GPT sites

I have not found this to be too much of an issue at the hybrid sites like Inbox Dollars, MyPoints and Send Earnings, but pure GPT sites are a bit different.

Because of the software and tracking systems, there are certain things you must do to ensure your offers credit for you. Every GPT and hybrid site has a support desk just in case, but being sure to follow a few simple rules with each offer will help you out greatly, and hopefully eliminate the need to request credit for non-crediting offers.

  1. Be sure to enable both cookies and pop-ups. This is critical as most of the links are to offers that “pop-up.”

  1. You must be sure to clear your cookies (and I clear history, too – everything but passwords) before each and every single offer you do.

  1. Be sure you've read the qualifications for credit at the GPT site and understand them before trying to complete an offer! If you only need to enter your email, don't go through 50 pages of yes and no offers unless you want what you'll get at the end. If it says you have to get to the confirmation page, then keep going till you do. Its a no-brainer, but you'd be amazed how many people don't pay attention!

  1. ALWAYS keep your confirmation emails for every offer until you have been fully credited. Should an offer not credit, you will need to provide a screen shot of this email in order for the administration to check on your credit!!!

  1. Use a free email for all your offers (I use a different one for every site I belong to). It is easier to locate emails you need to find and does not clutter up your personal inbox with marketing and such. You normally do NOT need to use the same email you signed up to the GPT with (this SHOULD be your personal email, or one of your main boxes).

  1. ALWAYS be sure to read the terms and conditions. For every offer. Be sure you can live with these if you decide to go for your credit.

  1. BE ORGANIZED. There are several reasons for this, but the main one is that you can only ever do one offer one time. If you try to do it more than once at the same site, or to repeat it because you found it at another site, you will be in violation of the rules because it is considered FRAUD. Don't do it!!!

So, you need to keep very good track of which offers you have completed. Always. Word spreads fast in the GPT world – especially after the big blow up a few years ago. Once you are banned from one site, you just might find yourself banned from them all.

Also, you'll want to get the information you'll need if you should ever decide you wish to cancel any free trials so that you don't have to hunt it all down. You'll want the date, the number or website address, and also which email and credit card you used, as well as other information that is only truly handy while you are actually completing the offer.

  1. Some offers credit immediately, some take a week or so. Give an offer 14 days before contacting support at the GPT. This is another reason for being organized! You'll know which offers credited, which didn't, where the email is that you need to send to the admin and so on!

  1. Most of the crediting and other information tends to be similar among all GPT sites, but please do read each site's FAQ on the matter. I am sure I've forgotten a few important things here, and sometimes one site gives info that will help at all the others!

I know this sounds confusing and like a lot of work.

Really, once you've done two or three offers you will find all this second-nature. It is easy, and since these sites pay so well if you've been honest and followed the rules, you will have no problem. Its worth the work to get organized at the beginning and stay that way.

I have a spreadsheet available. Simply email me at suediederich – @ – comcast – .net and put “SPREADSHEET FOR GPT” (in all caps so I don't miss you!) in the subject line.

(Sorry about the email address – I've been spammed by robots and they can't follow it as it is above!)

Right now I don't have any place to store my GPT Spreadsheet on the web so till I do you have to ask for it.

Emailing me directly WILL NOT put you into an auto-responder!!! (I'm too lazy, lol! Besides.... that just ain't honest.)

My newsletter sign up form is on right side on every page of the blog if you would like to get that and keep up to date on my latest news and such.
